Why I’d Rather Have an Overconfident than Fearful Dog

It might just be that the grass is always greener. Or a personal reflection of what's hurt me most. Or maybe a stance because of what I value in my relationships overall. Either way, it's an opinion I hold strongly: I'd rather have an "overconfident" dog who needs help learning self preservation than a fearful one who needs help trying anything new.
