Middle position: Why my dog and I love the command (and how we trained it)

“Middle” is one of my favorite commands in all of dog training. (If I could only teach Scout one single skill, there wouldn’t even be a contest.) Depending on the situation, middle can act as a recall, as a leash-walking skill to navigate tight crowds, and more.
