How we’re preparing our dog for full-time van life
Sean and I first started dreaming about living in a van when we’d been together for about a year and I’d had Scout for a few months. It initially sounded like it might be a good fit for our personalities and interests—but the conversations were casual.
As time went on and we moved to Florida together, we thought and talked and learned more. The van dream went from a far-off fantasy to something we really want to do.
So we’ve taken steps to make it a reality. We recently put down a deposit to secure our custom conversion slot!
Now there’s a concrete plan in place, I’ve been more intentional about preparing Scout to travel with us full time. I think she’ll really enjoy it—she loves being as close to us as possible —but I want to make sure we set her up for success.
